Above the cigar cutter that got us to thinking more about cigar cutters, we have sold a fair few antique cigar cutters during our time in business but this little chap (for me) was by far one of the most interesting.
Made from Sterling silver and crafted in the Victorian era it features a tiny little mouse inside a trap, it is a fob cigar cutter one that could be hung from an Albert chain with a pocket watch or other useful gentleman-ly tools.
It was purchased (I am thrilled to say) by a collector, a collector with a passion and also a writer, I find solace in items such as this going to good homes and this cigar cutter has gone to the perfect home.
